Introduction to Minecraft Speedrunning (SAVE $40!)

Have you always been intimidated due to how much there is to learn about speedrunning Minecraft? Well this plan is designed to get you started on your journey! I'll take time to cover the basics of the 3 different dimensions in Minecraft, as well as set you up with all the resources and mods you will need.

Sessions Overview

Overworld Speedrun Practice

1 hour

As this is a beginner course, I'll mainly be focusing on teaching you the simplest and easiest ways to speedrun minecraft, which will be villages. I'll also briefly touch on other strats such as desert temples, shipwrecks, monuments, and more.

Nether Speedrun Practice

1 hour

The main chunk of this will be focused on learning how to route bastions in the nether as it's the most important part of the speedrun. Along with showing you where the gold is and walking you through basic bastion routes, we'll talk about stronghold rings, navigating a fortress, killing blazes, and more.

End Speedrun Practice

1 hour

Lastly, I'll work on you with everything that happens once you leave the nether. This will include triangulation, navigating a stronghold, and of course killing the ender dragon. If there's any extra time at the end we can jump back to something you struggled with or have any more questions about!

Speedrun Mod/Resources Setup

1 hour

During this we'll install the basic speedrunning mods like the timer and some performance mods, as well as set you up with a basic understanding of the stronghold calculator.
