What's good, my name is Dutch! I am the Professional Apex Legend Coach! I joined the Apex Legends Competitive scene in Year 2 of ALGS as an IGL player competing in NA Challenger Circuit and other third-party events posting top five results throughout and reaching Apex Predator in the ranked system. I switched from a player role to a coaching role in Year 3 of ALGS to help improve individual and team's gameplay. Since the switch, I was the head coach/analyst for Start a Fight (SAF) in Year 3 of ALGS and helped a number of different other freelance teams. During Year 3, my teams performed at the top of the scene in both ALGS and third-party tournaments. A few of our most recent results: - 6th Place in Zepher April Finals (Pro League) - 4th Place in Zepher May Finals (Pro League) - SAF 12th overall in EMEA Pro League Standings Split 2 Year 3 ALGS - Qualified for ALGS Year 3 Split 2 Playoffs in London - 34th Place in Year 3 Split 2 Playoffs (London, LAN) - 1st Place in ALGS SA LCQ & Qualified for ALGS Champs in Birmingham - 14th Place Year 3 Champs (Birmingham, LAN) Like I mentioned above, I was previously the Head Coach/Analyst for Start a Fight (SAF), which is a US esports organization that focuses directly on competitive Apex Legends. Throughout Pro League, I have improved both our individual and teams game play performance with many different aspects. Some of these aspects include IGL decision making, expert VOD reviewing, micro team fighting, POI clarification, loot path designations, macro/micro game play, zone knowledge, rotational pathing and meta diversification. I also focus on outside gameplay metrics, which focuses on building a strong mental and confident level to compete at the top. My coaching style is very hands-on approach with a lot of detailed VOD reviews and notes to help improve overall gameplay. I am a very straightforward coach that will help eliminate mistakes quickly and improve your overall gameplay.
