Hi, I'm Mike Boczar, better known as ElvenShadow. I've been playing fighting games since I was a kid but really started playing competitively since Guilty Gear XX came out in 2002. Since then, I've taken first place at tournaments such as ComboBreaker, Frosty Faustings, Anime Ascension, CEOtaku, EVO, KIT, APEX, Texas Showdown, Northwest Majors and many more. I'm also founder and owner of Frosty Faustings and have been organizing local and major tournaments since I started playing competitively. I am widely considered the best Faust player in the US from GGXX to GGXrd REV2. Though I currently live in Chicago, while living in Japan for 7 years (2007 - 2014), I trained with some of the best players in the world regularly and am happy to share my years of experience and knowledge. I also worked professionally as a teacher for those 7 years and have a lot of experience working with students. I'm happy to tailor lessons to whatever your needs may be.
