Hello, my name is G-P and I've been a competitive Smash Bros. player ever since 2009. I started in Brawl and progressed to Smash 4, and then to Ultimate. I've been a strong competitor in all 3 games, Including being ranked no. 12 in the United Kingdom for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in 2022 (See here: https://twitter.com/Luma_nati/status/1569747867845238788 ) and being considered the best Ike main in Europe. Despite all of this, my core focus was always outside of my own competition: casting, presenting, coaching and Tournament Organising, which I was most renown for. This came to it's peak in 2019 where I hosted Albion 4, the biggest European Smash tournament of it's time, only recently beaten in 2021. My goals in the Smash community are to make it the best it can be, and enrich the experiences of anyone who calls it home. While I traditionally do this by running events and acting behind the scenes, we are here to compete first and foremost. My skills as a player lean heavily into understanding the fundamentals of the game as it's core in addition to explaining how different factors of the game interact with each other from both the mental and mechanical side of things. This has amalgamated itself into a proficient coach for players at all levels which started to show itself where I started delivering coaching sessions as early as 2017 on livestreams, and has persisted into the modern day as recorded sessions for players of all levels to come away with new insight and tools. These lessons are less a labour of competition, but more of competence, and being able to understand why certain actions are necessary when planning an event. By the end of my lessons, the student should not only become more adapt in the skills they've hoped to hone, but also have a deeper understanding of the material themselves, which will allow the student to continue further into the field on their own merit as opposed to needing a guide the entire way.
