These days, I've been known to drop names like Wishes, an Ultimate player I coached who was ranked #21 in the world on the first PGRU, but I've come a long way to get here. In 2014, the decision to start hosting local tournaments in my hometown of Queens, NY led me down a deep path through the heart of competitive Smash. Along the way, I watched many players go from their first local to beating PGR ranked players at super-majors, and I'm proud to say my coaching was able to lend a hand. I started privately coaching in Smash 4, training local players such as Ralphie, who placed 9th at Super Smash Con 2018 and 1st at Xanadu: End of an Era. When Smash Ultimate released, I was already studying the game intently to make guide videos for my YouTube channel: Game5 Smash, so I knew I could take my coaching to the next level - and that's just what I did! For the past 2 years, I've done hundreds of paid coaching sessions, teaching players of virtually every skill level. I've trained players who regularly top 8 their locals, a guy who literally asked me to team with him in online doubles so he could beat his friends, and everything in between.
