A theoretical comprehensive module for students interested in learning the fundamentals of Street Fighter 6. Each lesson will break down different aspects and their application in game, giving a clear frame of possibilities in a system and during fights.
Sessions Overview
Defence 1
1 hourThis lesson will give you a full framework to understand how expert players approach defence and make you confident in your defensive game. This is divided in two parts as it's the most time demanding module of fundamentals. We will talk about setting up defence from very simple but important to advanced as a scalable approach.
Neutral
1 hourThis lesson frames the neutral in SF6 and its possibilities, from explaining offensive and defensive ranges, active and passive phases, declaration of intentions and bats around them, mixup layers based on neutral, what each range is for and how to use them creatively as well as to read your opponents.
Defence 2
1 hourThe second part of defence, encompassing Delay tech / Delay strike, shimmy, fuzzy blocking, fuzzy jumping, dealing with 50/50s
Offence
1 hourThis lesson will teach you how to structure and layer offence based on situations, risk-reward, critical ranges, meter available, opponent's habits, how to utilize far pokes correctly and how to convert from them, how to properly learn the offensive mindset and how to use psychlogy to correctly read the opponent, lock them down and guard the corner offensively.
System Mechanics
1 hourThis lesson will teach you all you need to know about the system mechanics of SF6 in order to exploit this knowledge and adapt your playstyle to the various situations you'll encounter. Moreover, there will be a section on: Baiting, conditioning, adaptation, timer usage, risk consideration, bulldogging and other mind games aspects as well as the attitude and stream of thoughts to keep (and how to achieve it) to clear your mental stack and optimize its load. On request, this can also be turned into a lesson on tournament play, how to prepare, what to eat, good habits to have, mental fortitude, etc.
