Palutena Training Package
This package will teach you the most important aspects of Palutena, and will teach you different strategies and techniques at every phase of the game! Throughout this lesson, I intend to tailor the content of each lesson to match your understanding of the character: beginner, intermediate, and advanced Palu players will all have something new to learn with every session.
Sessions Overview
Session 2: Neutral Game
1 hourIn this session, we will break down the various aspects of Palu's neutral, explore her strongest tools and attributes in neutral, and discuss how to apply them in various matchups.
Session 3: Advantage State
1 hourThis lesson will teach you all about Palutena's advantage state. Known for having one of the best advantage states in the game, we will discuss exactly why her punish game is so deadly, ranging from combos to juggles to edgeguards to ledgetrap setups.
Session 4: Disadvantage State
1 hourDisadvantage is often one of the hardest aspects of your game to improve, but fortunately for Palu she has access to Warp, one of the most versatile and useful defensive options in the game. This lesson will go over how to use Warp as well as Palu's other disadvantage tools to return to neutral as safely as possible.
Lesson 4: Review
1 hourThis session is for you to take the concepts learned from the previous sessions, try and apply them as best as you can, and come back with VODs of your gameplay that we can watch together. From there, I will try and point out what you've improved the most on, and give you a list of what to work on in the future.
Session 1: Start
1 hourIn this session, I want to get to know you! I want to figure out your playstyle, general skill level, what you feel like you're strongest and weakest at, etc. Feel free to bring your own VODs, or any questions or anything else you'd like to discuss to this session!
