I can see the things others don't... 🧐 I've been active in the competitive smash community now for 13 years, dating back to 2009 when Super Smash Bros. Brawl was my main game. I can confidently say I have a plethora of experience. In 2009 at just 13 years old, I got my first top player win in Brawl during a major bracket (SNES Game Unicon 2009). I continued competing in Brawl for many years, raking up wins on players such as Cheese, Bizkit, Mikeray4, Icylight, etc. When Brawl began to dissolve competitively, I moved onto Project M, consistently placing top 8 at our regionals in New England. Smash for Wii U released and I immediately fell in love with Pac-Man. My goal was to bring him to his max potential. Despite him not being too great of a character, I managed to top 8 the majority of my locals and grab wins on players such as Ling, Craftis, THUNDER, Kogarasuma, iModerz, etc. Finally, Ultimate released... and something clicked. All of those years of experience in smash lead to everything fundamentally making sense in game. As well as Pac-Man being a much more viable character in this game, I was out the gate, being considered a top 10 Pac-Man since the game's release! I consistently placed top 8 in our locals/regionals, even placing 13th, 9th, 7th, and 5th at 4 different PGR events. You may know me for my game 5 set with Tweek at Shine 2019, or for my offline wins on players such as Light, Ling, Mr. E, DM, Craftis, JW, Magister, Pelca, Scot, etc. I am also a doubles enthusiast, and am convinced I'm a top 15 doubles player in North America. I just recently placed 3rd/74 teams at Collision 2022 with my partner, SuperGirlKels. We beat teams such as Zomba/Tilde, PkChris/MPg, and Pharaoh/Steffen, as well as bringing Sparg0/Chag to game 5 in WFs. I placed 7th/177 teams in doubles at Shine 2019 with my partner, Pelca. We beat teams such as Smokk/Venom, Gen/Pugwest, and Prof3ssorMGW/Juuuuul. Pelca and I have beaten other teams in other events such as Ling/Scot, Beast/Yoda Cage, and Suarez/Raptor. Lastly I also placed 2nd/50 with my partner, Laid at Overclocked IV beating teams such as Craftis/Ribs, Don/Mr. E, and Raffi-X/DM. Then... COVID hit. During the pandemic, my life took a turn for the worse. I lost my mother, and was diagnosed with 3 severe auto-immune diseases. This resulted in me needing to take a copius amount of medications, as well as 30mg a week of Methotrexate which is a chemotherapy drug. All of these factors since have seriously impacted my results. I still get no lower than 97th at majors, but it's not up to the standards I once met. However, I'm not giving up... My goal despite my hardships is to overcome them and get back to the top player status I once had. My fundamentals and understanding of the game remain, and my goal along with rediscovering myself as a competitor is to do the same for my students. With all that I have achieved in these 13 years, I would like to pass on my knowledge to others who have ambitions in competition as I did and still do. I'm even the head of the smash department in WeAreHeroesGG, an eSports Talent Agency. I am in charge of 14 individuals, where I train them in singles, doubles, and VOD Review every month. I am proud to say their results have all been improving under Heroes, not fully to my credit though. They always had the talent, we just help them to find it.
