Course level: Intermediate/Expert In a game with almost 90 characters like Ultimate, it's rare that one character will be the best answer for every opponent you encounter. If you're an intermediate or expert level player who already knows how to play the game pretty well with your main, but would rather switch off of them for certain matchups, this course is for you.

Select Your Secondary 2 - Catching Up
1 hourBefore your new character starts getting you more wins, you have to get them up to speed with your main. We can review vods, play friendlies, study frame data, or do anything else you think will help you get on the right track with them. By the end of this lesson, you will have completed the Select Your Secondary course. You should have decided on a new character and your proficiency with them should be noticeably improved. We can book follow-up lessons to continue building your skills with them or in any other departments!
Select Your Secondary 1 - Matchup Evaluation
1 hourWho do you main? Which matchups does your character hate? Which matchups do YOU hate? Which characters beat those characters? We'll talk about all this and more using data from tournaments, opinions from top players, and your own personal strengths/weaknesses/feelings as points of reference to help you decide on a character to add to your roster. By the end of this lesson, you should have reached a decision on which character you'd like to pick up as a secondary, or at least have it narrowed down to a small handful of candidates. If you have already decided on one or we come to a conclusion early, leftover time can be spent playing friendlies together to start getting your hands dirty.
