Sessions Overview
Learning how to Learn: Labwork, Optimized
1 hourLet me show you how to lab, like your (tournament) life depends on it! I have a lot of secrets to share, longtime preferences that I know have helped me over the years. We can do online training mode for this, or you can spectate me, or I spectate you, or perhaps a combination of all three.
Putting the System to Work: In the Driver's Seat With SF6
1 hourA lesson better suited to intermediate or beginner players, in which I will cast light on the two-way-interactive capacity of the Drive Meter, the resource that defines SF6, and the impressive variety of ways that each Drive bar can interact with another over the course of a single round.
30 Minute Set. 1.5 Hour Replay Analysis
1 hourI'll give you my best, with any of my characters for a half hour, and then take you through our set, finding key moments to pause, ask you questions, and guide you toward answers. (Or perhaps more questions which will give you the well-rounded, open-ended understanding you need to answer your own questions when the time comes in a set, and you're on your own.)
Matchup Interactions / Developing Strategies
1 hourAs a competitor and a commentator, it is critical that I am able to break down where players are making their most interactive decisions in matchups. Come to me with your character of choice, and I can break down and simplify where the players of the characters are interacting, and illuminate the path to skewing risk reward in your favor. Example: Why Sol 7-3s I-no, in Two Minutes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1cMfPanbk20
Duo Lesson: Group Scrimmage and Analysis
1 hourI will pair you up with another student of similar skill level in a similar game, and have you two play each-other, while equally sharing ideas for both of you to improve in whatever matchup you happen to be playing against the other student! With all three of us in voice chat at the same time, three's a crowd. We'll be able to cover more, and with each student paying only 10$, this is actually the cheapest lesson in the book!
