Mii Swordfigher Fundamentals
In this plan I will help you understand Mii Swordfighter in-depth regardless of your moveset and teach you how to play multiple aspects of the game while helping you understand universal smash fundamentals and how they apply to our obscure character. I am willing to help anyone of any skill level get better at the character.
Sessions Overview
Advantage state
1 hourI think getting good at Swordfighter's advantage state is the most important thing you can do to really start improving with him. Since our damage per hit is so high, we gain more value than most characters for getting small openings and learning when we can have big openings will net us absurd damage. I will teach you how to ledge trap both universally and how to do it specifically with swordfighter. I will teach you how to catch landing properly and push them far as possible while also making sure you know to avoid the common habits that makes msf players drop landing traps too early
Neutral and Conditioning
1 hourIn this lesson Ill teach you how to properly switch between swing with our sword and throwing projectiles, classic baits and conditioning tools that will help you win neutral more, and lastly how to condition people into shielding effectively since that is a major part of our kit, especially at higher levels
Disadvantage state
1 hourLastly I will teach you how to play disadvantage as swordfighter. Because of our attributes, weight, and airdodge frame data, Mii Swordfighter has a pretty bad disadvantage state. In this lessong I will teach you how to get off of ledge effectively despite us being notoriously bad on it, teach you how to utilize our recovery to the fullest extent, and how to land better. Although we may not naturally have a good disadvantage state, anyone can escape disadvantage if you understand your opponents character and what they are looking for
