Freestyling Fundamentals

In this training course, we will go over the basics of freestyling as a whole. Whether you're interested in solo freestyling, team freestyling, multi-resets, Breezi flicks, wavedashes, or noflipping, I will give you the standard set of tools and knowledge you need to improve at your own pace. There are many set plays in freestyling that vary between styles and I will show you the basics of these throughout the course. I offer various training routines and training packs to students to improve mechanical ability in both ground play and aerial play.

Sessions Overview

Day 2 - The Mechanics

1 hour

Day 2 involves coverage of specific training routines personalized to your style. I will review your gameplay in training and give you a routine involving custom workshop maps, custom training packs, and free play.

Day 3 - The Application

1 hour

Day 3 involves coverage of real-time application of the principles we discussed throughout Day 1 and 2. If we worked on team freestyling, we would play together and I would give tips on how to position for certain plays based on the position of players on the field. I will execute various freestyle passes and tell you where to position based on what type of goal you want to score. The same applies for solo freestyling, except we would freestyle 1v1 instead of playing in a team setting. I would give tips on how to vary your setups to improve consistency as well as show you high-level freestyle 1v1 etiquette. All in all, these three days combined will vastly improve your mechanical and positional skill in the realm of freestyling. Not only this, but your reads will also improve allowing for better decision-making in competitive matches.

Day 1 - The Basics

1 hour

Day 1 involves coverage of the basic plays freestylers execute in your preferred style. I will show you how each player positions in team freestyling (or how a player positions in solo freestyling upon request) in order to set up each standard shot. Freestyling is an expression of one's own creativity, so once you understand the basics, you can deviate from them and create your own unique style.
