Pronouns: they/them Lives in: Wisconsin, USA Main game: Fantasy Strike Main team: Rook/Midori/Lum I've been playing Fantasy Strike since late 2017, dedicated to Rook from day one after specializing in Zangief with Street Fighter 4 (at my peak, the #12 Zangief on XBL). Rook was widely considered to be the worst character in the game, yet I was still winning tournaments with him in both singles and team battles. Most well-known for "playing to my outs," turning what looks like certain defeat into ultimate victory. I accomplish this by simply not giving up until the game officially declares a victor. I believe David Sirlin's book Playing to Win: Becoming the Champion has a lot of very strong insight on the competitive mindset and bring that mindset to every event I play.
