Event Preparation
This training plan will take you through all the necessary steps for getting ready to compete in an event, from regionals to a YCS or WCQ. Please book ~2 weeks in advance if interested.
Sessions Overview
Selecting a deck
1 hourFirst things first, you have to decide what deck to bring to the event. We'll critically analyze the format together, weighing each deck's strengths and weaknesses to determine your weapon of choice.
Playtesting pt. 1
1 hourNow that you have an idea of what your deck will look like, we'll hop into matches against the decks you expect to face and see what works and what doesn't. This will allow us to refine the deck while getting practice playing against relevant matchups.
Building your deck
1 hourWe're going to build a first draft of your chosen deck, including a fleshed-out side deck that accounts for every deck in the meta.
Playtesting pt. 2
1 hourIn this final session, we'll keep refining your deck through playtesting, and make the final adjustments to your deck.
