Sessions Overview
Growth Mindset in smash
1 hourIn this session, we will create a Growth Mindset Plan using a structured lesson around why you need to have a growth mindset. We will look at what makes you frustrated and where you want to improve.
Joining a Competitive scene
1 hourThis lesson is simply a review of your current experience with the competitive scene from beginners to experienced veterans. This gives me the ability to tailor a discussion that will fit around your needs
Positional Play
1 hourIn this we will discuss how to set up positional play and creating a simple gameplan for you to implement immediately into games. We will look over some other players vods and experiment together to develop specific motions to aid in risk/reward management.
Stress of Success/Failures
1 hourIn this session we will review the successful attempts you have experienced in smash as well as review some failed opportunities. This may be accompanied with vod reviews and making an effort to look at how these moments affect your motivation within the game.
Optimization
1 hourWe are simply going to look at optimal combo strings for characters and lay them out in a list.
Ledge Trap VS Edge Guard
1 hourIn this we will go over the decisions of when and how to decide your options when your opponent is off stage.
Self-Improvement
1 hourIn this final session, we will lay out the foundations for your improvement and look towards your bright future as a competitive smash player. Look forward to a detailed training plan and a sort of "schedule" for improvement.
Risk/Reward Management
1 hourIn this we will discuss Risk/Reward and play out various situations where we need to decide if something is "worth the risk". Sometimes it is and sometimes we need to spend time collecting data.
