Now let's move onto Prize Mapping! One of the most important aspects of the Pokémon Trading Card game, is determining what Pokémon are the biggest threat to losing you the game. In some scenarios, the Pokémon that doesn't look like a threat one turn, will become the reason you lose a game! It is critical to look 3-4 turns ahead in a game, and identify, what the real threats are on the field! Just because a Pokémon has energy on it, and seems like a threat, does not always mean it is the biggest one! Many players will fly to close to the sun and will not take into account the ladder portions of a game and will be punished because they did not look ahead far enough and identify the best wincon! This will leave them just short of the finish line, and with this session, we will greatly decrease the likelihood of that happening!

The single most important aspect of becoming a better Pokémon Player is having a deck/decklist that can tackle the best decks in the format! No matter how good of a player that you are, you will need a strong deck and decklist to be successful. In this session, we will work specifically on your decks, and decklists. We will begin by looking at your favorite deck, and I will provide my insight on what needs to be changed, and my opinions on how this deck will fair in the metagame in the near future. Once we have tackled the first deck, we will look at 2-3 other options (if applicable) and we will work together to make them the best versions of themself they can be. Once this has been completed, we are ready to move onto the next portion of our training!

Lastly, no matter how good your deck is, if not piloted properly, it will faulter against other decks that it should be beating. There are many matchups that we will need to go over with your select decks, because often times, your deck and how it functions, changes depending on what deck you play against. For example, Single Strike Urshifu with Umbreon VMAX, often alternates between which attacker is best for a select matchup. This portion of the training session will go over everything you need to know on how to beat the best decks in the format and how to approach every single game!

You have reached the final portion of our in-depth training session! Today will be a day that, we go over what we have learned, what we did well, and what we need to improve on in the future. Practice does not mean perfect, but perfect practice will greatly improve your chances of succeeding. I will send a document going over everything that we have accomplished in our session, and you can use these tools as reference, when you are practicing the methods that we went over in our training course! We will end off with a simple Q&A and I will answer any last questions that you may have!
