Regional / International Training Plan
With Regionals approaching, it is even more important, to begin getting prepared for some of the biggest events of the year! Doing well at these events, can net you $5000 dollars, and can change your life! That is why, it is critical to be as prepared as possible for these events! This is what this training package will offer. I am going to get you prepared for the event, in 5 sessions. We will go over proper sequencing, metagaming, and preparing your deck to be the best it can be going into the regional!
Sessions Overview
Deckbuilding
1 hourThis hour will be dedicated to going over all of your options for the event! We will pick 3 decks and begin working on those decks. We will optimize the list, go over potential tech cards for the event, and really take a deep dive into each of the options for this event!
Sequencing/ Beginning Practice
1 hourThis hour will be dedicated to helping you practice proper sequencing, with the decks that we have chosen! Knowing how to sequence properly separates an average player from a good player, and a good player from a great player! I will teach you tools that you can use, that will last a lifetime in your journey to becoming a Pokémon master!
Introduction
1 hourLet's get to know each other! We will go over your goals with the Pokémon Trading Card Game, and we will begin looking over deck options for the event!
Testing specific matchups
1 hourFor a deck to succeed, you must know how it fairs against some of its competitors. These 2 hours will be dedicated to playing our deck, with the tools that we have learned. These 2 hours will allow us to pinpoint our decks strengths, and weaknesses, and allow us to make adjustments to enhance our decks potential!
Follow up
1 hourWe will have a discussion over discord about the final adjustments, and thoughts on the deck that we have chosen! This will give us a final few minute to go over everything we have learned, and what we can expect going into the tournament!
