Learn The Game, Pick A Main
Even though I'm a Powdered Toast Man and Michelangelo main, I still know how to navigate basically any character at a top level. My own experience with labbing the game, as well as playing against other top players, will help you master essentially any character of your choosing. If you have yet to decide on a main, or if you're not sure where to go with them, this lesson is right for you! This session is meant for beginner to intermediate level players.
Sessions Overview
Bread, Butter, Basics
30 minutesWe'll go over your character's basic bread and butter combos and how to use each of their moves. Before we get into talking about how to play neutral with your character, it's important to understand what you should be doing once you find your opening. Each character has their own unique defining tools, so I'll try to teach you how to make the best of them!
Neutral, Advantage, Disadvantage
30 minutesThese are the 3 basic keystones of what makes each character unique. Beyond your basic guaranteed combos is the nuance of how to continue applying offensive pressure, ways that you can find those openings to begin with, and what you should be doing once you've been hit.
Putting It Together
30 minutesNow that we've gone through all of the jargon, we can play some games and help you find your footing! I'll go easy and help you through what might be an overwhelming process of learning something totally new.
