Hi - my name is Diaphone and I'm a competitive fighting game player known for my achievements in GGST, SF6 and Granblue Fantasy Versus, but I love all fighting games. My goal is to grow a positive community with a focus at improving at fighting games. One of my unique skills is being able to break down complex or commonly unseen concepts, simplify them, and use them to win in fighting games. It's also what makes me an effective coach! As a subset of my professional career, I also have 6 years doing corporate training and coaching, including topics around risk management and human performance, which also have cross-over to fighting games! I know that my unique experiences will help you level up your game to the next level! I also stream on twitch and upload guides to Youtube. Everyone has different needs. Some of the things I think are the most valuable use of our time include: • Identifying your Strengths and Weaknesses as a player • Identifying mental barriers inhibiting growth. • Coming up with a training plan to optimize your improvement. • Discussing and understanding mindset needed for competition.
As a longtime commentator, I learned how to speak and articulate fighting games in my own efficient way from early on in my journey in the FGC. As a proud practitioner of the "commentators who make it out of pools challenge," I am thrilled at the prospect of providing you the tools, and the understanding of the tools, to have a shot at making it out of any tournament pool in any 2D game, or whatever your goal may be! I'm a Guilty Gear: Strive Johnny, Millia, + Testament competitor that regularly competes and has competed in multiple offline majors. I stream frequently with the goal of sharing how to be more consistent in fighting games. I've guided several students from my stream to improve their placements in tournament and their ranking in game. My Name is Akaraien and I am a 25 year old FGC Competitor and Martial Artist from Austria. On January 31st 2022 I became the Number 1 Ranked Player in the World for Guilty Gear Strive (Check out my Pinned Post on Twitter for proof) and I have been a top level player in several other Fighting Games such as Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Multiversus, DBFZ and now currently Street Fighter 6. I constantly strive for improvement in any game I pick up competitively and always aim to become the best at them while competing/playing.
