Coaching
I'm a professional Magic player from Denmark with five years of experience with coaching. I was a Gold-level Pro for many years straight, won the World Magic Cup as part of team Denmark, was 2023 Player of the Year and have 4 Pro Tour top 8s under my belt as well as 8 Grand Prix top 8s. During these years I have also teamed up with many of the best players in the game and learned what I can from them - knowledge that I now get to pass on to you! Not just a solid player, I'm also a competent teacher. For me it is always very enthralling to figure out potential holes in other people's knowledge base and work out how to best convey the information that will plug those holes. Magic coaching lets me combine two of my favorite passions. With me you will get flexible coaching. There are many different ways to approach a session - I have described a handful of them in my lesson description - and you get to pick whichever one you think will be the most beneficial to you. My time is also flexible, so if you need to book a time outside of my listed available ones, please message me and we might be able to work it out. This includes the weekends. We also are not just limited to Magic Arena. I can coach you through the Magic Online formats too. Take care and remember to always keep a learning mindset!

I have loved all kind of games since I have memory, and I fell in love with Magic from the moment I learned how to play and it has becomed my favourite activity in my life! I’m a full-time professional Magic player, and my most notable achievement was getting the title of Player of the Year 2017-2018, after winning a final playoff against the excellent Seth Manfield (who is another coach from Metafy). You can watch the matches here: https://bit.ly/39YqHmx Under my belt I have 3 Pro Tour Top 8’s with a win, as well as 8 Grand Prix Top 8’s with two wins. Here you can watch how I got my Pro Tour Champion title playing Lantern Control, https://bit.ly/39YqHmx Many fine players consider myself a first-rate technical player, with a style of play that is as fast as confident. That’s why I believe I am skilled at explaining my thoughts while playing. Magic is a game with lot of variance, similar to most card games, so it is very important to learn how to manage your emotions while playing. It is critical to have a strong mindset, which is one of the keys to become a Pro player. I have a lot of tip and tricks to help you to become a stronger player, and the best insight I can give you now is learn to accept your losses and learn from them. I believe that you need to learn how to be a loser before learning how to be a winner. It is easy to know how to win more, and I will not only teach you that, but I will also advise you on how to become a good loser, because there is more to learn from mistakes than from victories. I want to share a personal story regarding this theme. This was the last swiss round of Pro Tour Rivals of Ixalan. My score was 12 wins and 3 losses, so with an intentional draw I could end up with 37 points which would have locked me for Top 8, but my opponent, Lucas Esper Berthoud, had only 11 wins, so a draw wasn’t enough for him. So we played. In the minute 12:25, you can see me searching for a card that was not in the deck. I totally messed up during the end of the previous round, leaving the card I was looking for in the sideboard instead of the maindeck. I only needed to find that card to win, but I got a game loss instead. I was very excited with the win of the previous round, and I thought that I already hade made Top 8, since I only needed a draw at the final round. Reality was that now I needed to win all remaining games to secure a Top 8. Looking back, facing that harsh reality was when I graduated in mental toughness. I’ve always considered that I had the emotional strength required to be a Pro Player, but winning the remaining games while locking me for Top 8 was one of the most important matches on my career. https://bit.ly/3GjMHUQ
I knew I wanted to play strategy games since I was 8. My dad was a world champion Bridge player so winning is definitely in my DNA. The moment I realized I could be one of the best in this game was when I won the Grand Prix Daytona Beach and played against Paulo Vitor Damo da Rosa in the finals. I was 16. It's been a straight road to success from there. I love the different layers of complexity Magic has. Learning and evolving are constant in this game. With my coaching sessions, I can help players on all levels get a deeper understanding of the game and learn to develop their own winning strategies.
Hi everyone! I've played MTG for more than 19 years and still playing at Pro Tour level nowadays. While playing on the pro scene, i've trained a lot of people from my hometown and gave them all they needed to reach pro tournaments. I was myself part of an international team (MTG mintcard) for almost a year. I've decided to test with my french friends from the pro scene after that, feeling we could have the same level of players if we trained better. I'm actually testing with MPL/Rivals french proplayer to help them prepare their tournament (and playing them as well when i qualified). After so many years spent as a pro tour competitor, I've started streaming, making videos and now coaching to help new comers get a better understanding of what MTG's competitive stategy is about. I can help you improve in both constructed and limited.
I've gone infinite in around 10 different card games. If there was a ladder available, i've gone to the top in every one of them. I've started coaching in different fields 17 years ago so i've built up a huge experience. In the past few years, I've been streaming MTGA and got on top there fairly quickly. Doesn't matter if you already are an amazing draft/sealed player and you wanna get to the next level, or if you are struggling, we are gonna get there. I believe that due to the complexity of MTG draft/sealed, individualistic approach is very important. I advise for the length of the session to be 1,5 hours cause we can cover drafting, deckbuilding and gameplay. Usually i do my coaching through discord screen share but that's open for discussion. Best way to talk to me is on discord. We can discuss all the details there, even before you book a session.
