Sessions

Having not missed a top 8 in 5+ years, learn the game in a digestable manner, learn anything from elite level strategy, to the most basic concepts.

Hi - my name is Jay-Z's Bottomlip and I'm a competitive fighting game player known for my achievements in MK1, MK11, MKX, but I love all fighting games. My goal is to grow a positive community with a focus at improving at fighting games. One of my unique skills is being able to break down complex or commonly unseen concepts, simplify them, and use them to win in fighting games. It's also what makes me an effective coach! I also stream on twitch and upload guides to Youtube. If you aren't ready for coaching yet - come join our community and see if your money will be well spent! What to Expect from coaching: Our coaching sessions will vary between person to person. Everyone has different needs. Some of the things I think are the most valuable use of our time include: • Identifying your Strengths and Weaknesses as a player • Identifying mental barriers inhibiting growth. • Coming up with a training plan to optimize your improvement. • Discussing and understanding mindset needed for competition.

Probably your favorite Geras main.

Winner of 5 out of 8 local tournaments in my town. I've played NRS Fighting Games for the past 12 years and still going I teach Basic and Advanced Techniques in fighting games and basic gameplan ideals.

high level MK player (NRS era) been playing MK for 4-5 years beaten multiple pros on varying games (KHTX Scar on MK1, Maddog Games on MK1, Diff on MK1, ALMOST Codecaine on MKX to name a few) have roughly 12 playstation tournament wins (9 in one day) have coached one other player into her first tournament win but no experience beyond that (with coaching)

I've spent far too much time playing and competing in fighting games.

As a longtime commentator, I learned how to speak and articulate fighting games in my own efficient way from early on in my journey in the FGC. As a proud practitioner of the "commentators who make it out of pools challenge," I am thrilled at the prospect of providing you the tools, and the understanding of the tools, to have a shot at making it out of any tournament pool in any 2D game, or whatever your goal may be! Pride is yours to claim in this scene, and I am here to encouragingly push you along the way, like a breeze at your back.

Sparring/Coaching
if youre new, i can teach the entire game from the ground up. if youre a returning or low-mid level i can show specific tech and fundamentals you may have missed if youre a mid-high level player i suggest sparring. after you learned what youve needed to, the best thing to do is to try and use it against another high level player. if youre willing to drop the dollar for coaching you can hit me up any time for sessions. but you only get 1 free session.
