My name is Paul Ruiz aka Ralfdude. I won the VG Pokemon World Championships in 2018 and finished 3rd in Worlds 2017. I've been playing Pokemon competitively since 2013. Pokemon is my life. I've traveled to lots of different countries to play Pokemon and I've always been a very competitive person in everything I do and Pokemon is no exception. My name is Eduardo Cunha, I'm a 26 year old Pokémon player from Portugal and the 2022 World Champion! I also work as a STEM and English teacher, so coaching is my full time job! My journey playing VGC started in 2013 and have shown results at the highest level since 2016. Pro Player of Pokémon VGC (started to play in 2017) and also a Game Designer, Game Analyst and former tutor for kids. My best skill, even above my in-game ability, is understand the metagame and find valuable and/or alternative solutions for both playing it and countering it. I used some meta trend in advance through the years, such as Togekiss-Excadrill (Mold Breaker) - Dragapult in VGC 20 or Dragon Tera on Gholdengo in VGC 2023 to name the most recent ones, and also created some unique ideas and pick such as the Worry Seed Amoonguss at the Barcelona SPE 2023, or Mega Blaziken in Ultra Series alongside Xernala in 2019. In my lessons I also explain my methods to find such picks and how I analyze the metagame.

I've started playing VGC at the end of 2018 when I was still in high school.Back then I played only online, but I started getting more known towards the end of 2019 and the beginning of 2020, which eventually allowed me to join Team Aqua, a VGC Italian esport team composed by many great players. As I lived in Switzerland, I didn't get to attend many events, but I started doing my first in real events in 2022. I still find it hard to attend many events due to my University schedule (I'm currently studying economy and management), but when I do, I always manage to do well. In fact, I've reached Day2 (in the top32 half) or better in almost all Majors I took part to. I also managed to win the London Open, a tournament of nearly 400 players coming from all the world, majority of which were other fellow world competitors. Thanks to Team Aqua, I've had previous coaching experiences through VGC university, where I even gave lessons to multiple people together. While my coaching sessions were tailored to my students' needs, my group lessons were focused on team building and how to optimize spreads, which is definitely one of my expertises. Hi, I am Jiseok Lee a.k.a. MeLuCa. I have been playing competitive Pokémon since post-Worlds 2015. I have won Korean National in 2016, made it to the finals of the Players Cup in 2020, and won the San Diego Regional in 2023. I also have finished several ranked battle seasons and online competitions within Top 10 of the final ranking, including 3 #1 finishes. Because I am primarily a ladder player, my approach to competitive Pokémon is a bit unique when compared to other VGC players who are competing in the official circuit. I place relatively heavier weights on teambuilding and Bo1 (and Closed Team Sheets) ladder practice than other VGC players. Even when I prepare for a Bo3 Open Team Sheets tournament, I take ladder practice to be my primary source of feedbacks and translate it into Bo3 preparation. Slightly unorthodox, but I think that the results suggest that this approach is working. My general aim in coaching is to help you get prepared for a specific tournament or a ranked battle season, whether it be Bo1, Bo3, Open Team Sheets, Closed Team Sheets, online, or in-person. My more ambitious aim in coaching is to convey my upper-mentioned methodology and approach to competitive Pokémon to you by using each session as a case study.
