Learning basic strategies with your character is the foundation of good gameplay, but you'll really start to stand out when you start using some of the fancy stuff that's exclusive to them. Not everything is consistent or useful, so we'll focus solely (or primarily) on the tricks and techniques that will actually be applicable in competitive matches so you can add that last level of finesse to your game. By the end of this lesson, you will have completed the Master Your Main program and should see notable improvement in multiple facets of your play. We can follow up in regular lessons after finishing this plan to track your improvement and continue building on your skills as a player!

The first step in growing with your character is to fully understand their toolkit. What moves should you be throwing out and why? How do you play the neutral, advantage, and disadvantage states? What are their strengths and weaknesses, and how do you play around them? By the end of this session, you will have a concrete idea of what you should be doing with your character in most/all matchups and at all levels of play.
