What can I expect from a general coaching session?
My goal is to make you come out of each coaching session learning something new that improves your game. I have a "think outside the box" mentality that will help you recognize win conditions, understand match-up's better, etc. If you would like, I can review Pokemon Showdown replays, or VODs of you playing in game if you have a capture card.
How does a session work?
I will add you on Discord before our session starts (which will be whatever account you link to your Metafy Account), and we will proceed to call from there. If you like, I can also do Zoom or other platforms upon request if you do not prefer Discord.
What do I need to do a session?
All you need to do a session is a Discord account and a working microphone, whether that be on your phone or computer. If you want me to watch your gameplay on your Nintendo Switch, you will need a Capture Card.
Do I need prior experience to do a session?
No, I accept students from all backgrounds. My goal is to help you improve as much as possible, whether that be starting from the ground up or taking the knowledge you already know and building upon it in a constructive manner.
What makes you different from other VGC coaches?
With my 6 years of experience, I go above and beyond help my students understand the facts of competitive play. I am not here to sugarcoat you, give you a sub-optimal experience, or lock additional content behind a paywall that will hinder your success. I want to see you succeed, that is my number one objective. I also keep DM's open outside of sessions and check in on students to ensure they are on the right track or if they have any questions.
