About me
I'm always here to help shape the future of Halo, and really either mold those looking to get into the HCS, or provide the fundamentals to play in general. I have experience coaching some of the top players at LAN, and Online (2s tourneys, 4s tourneys, Draft tourneys). Whilst being open, and honest,...
How do the lessons work?
Preferably, you come ready with a list of questions, and where you feel you need the most work. From there, we will go over everything associated with the lesson, and have you coming out feeling more confident in your abilities!
What are some teams/players you've coached before?
Notable Teams Coached: Native Gaming Black, Washed Up, Whole Ass Team (WAT), Reclamation, Snaked and Heated, Angry Birds, Titan. Notable Players Coached: KingJay, Minds, Piggy EX. Abature. HuNteR Jjx, Str8 Sick, Commonly, Elumnite, Ace, Gilkey, Shele (Nicoski), Swish 5s, Posey, SickStory, EmTeeKay, Tire Iron, NYSea, Munoz, Cykul, Reverse2K.
How did you get started?
I started playing Halo during its release of Combat Evolved at the age of 5, and have played every Halo thereafter. I personally did not get into competitive Halo until the later part of Halo 2, and even more so with Halo 3, where my cousin who was very big on competitive Halo showed me the ropes. I then took to MLG, Gamebattles, 8s lobbies, and the whole ordeal. Have been to several local LANs hosted by either schools, or stores within the area, and have attended a handful of ‘Official’ events, and counting. Growing up, especially being younger during the ‘golden age of Halo’ my parents were impossible to convince to let me go to almost any event. As someone who used to skip school, avoid plans, and just focus on playing literally all day every single day (which I do not recommend, haha); I feel I have a passion that’s only ever stayed true. Hell, with the Chattanooga event mentioned in the 'Achievements', I was on FaceTime for that tourney coaching between games especially due to not knowing if my friends were going to compete. So I didn’t end up going, but they managed to pick up a 4th at the door, and I got right on the phone. Even in one of the Raleigh Online Qualifiers, I suffered a kidney stone in the middle of the tournament, and still joined discord off my phone while in the emergency room. I’ll always bring a strong attention to detail that will not be matched, and overall bring the fun of competing/learning. It all started with flying out to hangout with friends I’ve met through Halo, and while taking a break from playing the hardcore playlist… the other two (2) began to play doubles, and I just instinctively stood behind them, and starting calling things out, and it just stuck ever since.
Do I NEED to be competitive, or know anything about competitive Halo for a lesson?
NO! If you're looking to get into competitive, great! If you're just looking to understand, and be better at the game in general, especially if you play every other playlist consistently, that's just fine as well.
