Hey, I'm Bunnz! Let's get better at Rocket League. I'm coach for Quadrant. I've been at the top of the ladder for over 2 years and spent the past 5 years honing my Rocket League coaching skills, taking a University sports coaching course and working part time as teacher. ------------ Introduction: My name is Alexander 'Bunnz' Domert and I'm a Swedish 22 year old Esports coach and part-time teacher with a background in leadership, sports coaching and professional gaming. My favorite thing to do is to listen to the goals of my students and help them create the bridge to that goal. To talk about both the mentality aspects and the technical aspects. Not just in Rocket League, but I would consider that my superpower and why I am so good at what I do. By reverse engineering the habits and milestones of the goal you are striving for, we can put you on a track that will guarantee success. I want my clients to really desire to improve, that's when we work best. I would say my coaching style is closer to that of a personal trainer than just an analyst. My job is to discuss your goals and how you want to achieve them and to analyze your current game-related habits to see what is holding you back from improving and playing like the pros (if that's what you want). I analyze your current gameplay and together we develop a plan with you to most effectively reach your goals with milestones along the way. This is how we can GUARANTEE improvement. ------------ Rocket League: Having been a player and enthusiast since the game's PC release in 2015, I've accumulated over 7000 hours in Rocket League, of which well over a thousand have gone to coaching and replay reviews. I've coached on all levels, from complete beginners to RLCS teams and Rank 1 players. Currently, I'm coach for Quadrant, an EU RLCS team. Currently ranked Supersonic Legend with a 2050 mmr peak, you can often find me 'Coach Bunnz' on the top 100 Global Standard (3v3) leaderboard. In 2019, I was signed to IntoStealth, a UK based team alongside current Williams Resolve professional player Noahsaki. My professional team coaching experience is - Top 1 (RCADIA) German team Recken Rockets Top 4 RLCS South American team Novus Aevi Top 12 RLCS Europe team Vertigo Top 16 RLCS Europe team Quadrant Top 1 (Europe League Finals) Swedish team Ascence ------------ What my strengths are: 1. Ability to adapt my coaching process to different people and learning styles. I am very familiar with seeing things from the perspective of the student and because I work as an afterschool teacher for 14/15 year olds in a very noisy school where I have learned that people learn very differently and some people really want to get better but just don't how to. 2. Understanding of the game and behavior change, especially rotations and positioning. I have always focused on the strategy side of the game since I was never the most mechanical, that was my competitive advantage. Paired with my hunger to review pro games and pick other coaches brain about the technical aspect of the game, decision making and rotations, I developed a strong understanding of how the game actually works. I have spent thousands of hours watching the highest level of Rocket League and processing strategies and seeing what works and what doesn't, and developing systems and easy ways to understand the game through, that have worked for me too. 3. Pedagogical explanations. This is my bread and butter, I love to put myself in my students shoes and try to find ways to make the most complex concepts into easy and comprehensible topics that are easy to remember but most importantly, easy to implement. This really tests my knowledge of the topics too. Coaching like this makes it easy for us to understand each other and discuss the replay we are watching as I am quite interactive and like to ask thought provoking questions. But most importantly, as I stated before, my superpower is to create a bridge between that dream you have and your current situation. We will develop a plan for you that is easy to stick to, motivating along the way and will make you feel the improvement quick. If you're ready to take your game to the next level, I am here waiting. ------------ My Coaching Journey: I've always loved helping other people achieve what they want, it is almost always more fulfilling than getting the same result for myself. This might be due to my personality type (ENFJ). When I feel like I've contributed to someone else being happy and proud, that makes me feel that way too. My Esports coaching journey started with my lower ranked friends asking me for advice on how to get better, to which I analyzed their replay with them and gave them a list of things to get better at and how to get better at them. This went really well as they told their other ranked friends about me and I started getting people to coach more often. After about a year I felt comfortable enough to ask teams around my level (at the time low Grand Champion around season 10) if I could help them get better, this was where I started coaching teams for the first time. It was quite different and my ability was really put to the test. This is where I realized coaching isn't just about the technical or strategical knowledge you have, but about helping the group reach their goals, listening to their needs and helping them function together. Continuing coaching while pursuing my career as a Semi-Professional player, I got on a team called IntoStealth in season 13, being coached by Face_rl, the current manager of WYLDE. After the team splitting up due to different interests, I lost touch with the game. This led me to spend less time playing on top my PC breaking, now it functioned very poorly as I needed to use a spare part I had. Through this my coaching stayed the same, I coached within a circle that I had built up and seeing their improvements really motivated me. I started realizing that I wanted to take coaching to the next level and therefore sought guidance from Face_rl as he had just coached Stormtroopers (ApparentlyJack's old team), he took me under his wing and I learned so much from attending a few sessions with the team, having meetings and him reviewing my coaching. After this I took a University course for Sports Coaching and Leadership which broadened my horizons massively, on top of landing me a job as an afterschool teacher at a school near Stockholm. This was just shy of a year ago and now I'm on the grind like never before, I still work there and I'm ready to share everything I've been learning and continue to learn every day. ------------ Book a session with me!
