Frequently asked questions
Do I need to send over recordings of my games?
No, not at all. Thanks to the replay code system implemented into Splatoon 3, just sending over the replay codes is good enough for us to get started on the session!
Are all sessions I book recorded?
Yes if you opt-in for them when booking a VOD review or live gameplay analysis session. With training plan sessions, I will provide recordings regardless.
What roles and weapons do you coach?
I teach all weapons, roles or skill levels across the spectrum. Whatever you feel comfortable playing, wherever you are in your Splatoon 3 journey.
How can I get the most out of the session?
Let me know through my discord (Custom8107) or by answering the questions asked when you book a session about your level, weapons, goals etc. That way, I know where to start and focus on when we meet.
Will the session end right as time is up?
No, I will stay for a bit extra if there are any more questions from you or your team about what was gone over in the session.
How many games should I provide for a VOD review session?
For an hour session, two to three is a reasonable number if the games last close to if not the entire five minutes.
What sort of replays should I send to get reviewed?
The replays should contain a mix of making good choices and choices that need changing. It's so I'm not praising or criticizing you the entire time, which wouldn't be an effective use of our time.
What's the difference between VOD Review and LIVE Gameplay Analysis sessions?
During VOD review sessions, we will review a few games of your choosing for the given time. LIVE Gameplay Analysis involves you playing live by sharing your screen or allowing me to join a scrimmage. You will get immediate feedback while getting the chance to build and apply it in more games.
Why should I book a session with you?
Because I go beyond what other coaches do in preparation, service, offerings, flexibility and communication. I also had 5+ years of coaching experience before coming to Metafy and 8 years of experience with the Splatoon series, so I know what it takes to coach someone at any part of their journey to reach their goals. If you don't want to take my word or experience for how my services prevail over everyone else, ask all my students who have left testimonials to fill you in.
How long will it take to get my session summary and recording?
If you opted in to receive a session summary and recording, the longest it will take is about a week due to other summaries I have piled up and personal circumstances. If you want your summary and recording sooner, you can opt-in for the express add-on when you book a session. By checking the add-on, I will get you your summary in 48-72 hours.
