I'm a competitive Splatoon player and former English teacher who's studied the habits and mistakes of players from beginner level to X rank. I use those findings to teach players how to get through the learning curve and up to a competitive level faster and with less stress. I run an educational social media brand, Squid School, uploading Splatoon content to TikTok, YouTube, and Twitch with a Discord community as well, focused on helping players anywhere from beginner level to mid-level competitive play. In 2018, I began playing Splatoon 2 competitively, and quickly rose to Div 4 in LUTI on the Grillers. I left to captain my own team, Watercolor, which also reached Div 4 in the final LUTI season of Splatoon 2. I've played Super Smash Bros. Melee competitively since 2008, and during that time I learned tournament organizing, community management, commentating, and how to develop a competitive mindset.
