Regionals Training Plan
In this plan I will help you prepare for an upcoming Regionals. We will discuss the metagame, figure out what deck is best fit for you, and grind out games to help you become familiar with key matchups you expect to face at the event. Sessions Overview
Brainstorming and Narrowing Down to a Deck
1 hourThrough this session, I will work with players to find a deck that we agree is best fit for them, and we will play some games to see how they feel about the deck, and so I can see how well they understand it.
Key Matchup Testing
1 hourIn this session we will practice against the expected meta decks that we had discussed prior. We will go into the intricacies of each matchup and will really get you to where you need to be in terms of matchup knowledge, so that you have a plan no matter who you face in the event.
Metagame Discussion
1 hourIn this session, we will pick each other's brains in regards to the expected meta for the event we are preparing for. This session also acts as a way for me to get to know you as a player before we get into the thick of preparation.
Final Thoughts and Testing
1 hourHere we are. We've discussed the meta, found a deck that best fits you, played games against key matchups, and refined the list. Now all that's left is for you to get some final testing in. In this session you can play against whatever matchup you think you need more practice in, and we will discuss next steps for you in continuing your preparation for the upcoming event.
Decklist Refining
1 hourIn this session, after playing more games with the deck we've selected, we will analyze those games and refine your decklist accordingly. Here we can discuss any card counts that may have been off during testing, or even tech inclusions that you may want to have.
