Sessions

Hey, I'm Ciaran! I am based out of Toronto, Canada and have been playing the Pokémon TCG since 2011. I have experience playing in both the Seniors & Masters Divisions (2014-2015 onwards), so I am able to provide a unique perspective on the game no matter your age! I was the #1 ranked player in Canada in 2023, and finished in the top 16 masters in the US & Canada. Some of the accomplishments I am most proud of are as follows: 8 World Championships Invitations, #1 Ranking in US & Canada in 2016, winning the Canadian National Championships, Top 4 and Top 8 at LAIC, and my three Top 32s at the World Championships! My job as a coach is to work with you to achieve your goals as a player. They could be as small as getting ready to play your first local tournament, or as large as earning an invitation to the World Championships. Whatever they are, I am confident I can work with you to help you become a better Pokémon player! Outside of Pokémon I have many hobbies and interests I enjoy such as playing/watching basketball, running, sports analytics, chess, travelling, and computer programming. I also coach an Under 18 girls basketball team, and worked 4 summers as a coach at a sports camp in the past. I am confident I can apply my sports coaching experience to the world of Pokémon. Some areas that I excel at are as follows: sequencing, deck building, deck selection, meta forecasting, mental preparation, prize mapping, and general gameplay. It would be my pleasure to help you improve as a Pokémon player, and I am happy to answer any questions you may have. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any!

🌟Hey! My name is Gabe and I am currently the #2 ranked player in North America! I have worked with over 500 students in the Pokemon tcg and I am passionate about helping YOU reach your goals. My main objective is teaching you how to IMPROVE at the game, and not just how to play it. One of my most successful students is Tristian T, who I coached to a Worlds 2nd place, Worlds Top 8, Regional Win, and more! Multiple other of my clients have seen great success whether it be achieving their worlds invite, making their first day 2, top cutting and winning regionals, and much more. I have coaching experience in every division and know what it takes for you succeed. What a session looks like: 1. We will introduce each other, I always love to know which are your goals and what’s your background. This will allow us to really begin to pinpoint our goals, and what we need to work on. 2. We will go over everything you need for the session, and the different teaching routes we can take per class that suites your needs. 3. One of the biggest things when we dive into gameplay, is I want to give you the freedom to make YOUR decisions first. I want to see where your mind leads to first, before we make the corrections needed. I will begin aiding you in sequencing tips, meta gaming analysis, and much more in our sessions. I am incredibly flexible with your needs, and can pivot to whatever core skill you want to improve on.

I am a Pokemon TCG player from the Chicago area! I started playing the Pokemon TCG in 2009 when I was 10 years old and played for about 6 years, placing in multiple major events as a Junior and Senior. I stopped playing competitively in High School and returned to the game where I have continued to perform at the highest level of the game. Outside of Pokemon TCG I am a professional actor as well as a writer and tutor!

Hey, I'm Zach! I'm a Pro Pokemon TCG player, manager of The Shuffle Squad, and a content creator. I've been a Pokemon TCG coach since 2010, have taught players how to master the mechanics of the game, and have expertly showcased deep strategies of the game. I am a Regional Champion, International Finalist, and your 2020 Players Cup II Champion! I've helped players from all across the globe achieve World Championship invites, locals Top Cuts, and have helped a handful of players achieve the title of Pokemon TCG World Champion. As I continue to play Pokemon in my adulthood, I've been able to help my wife achieve a World Championship invite in 2023, and I am officially a PokeDad as of September 2024! Message me if you have any questions!

Hi, I'm Brent and I play Pokemon TCG at the highest level, finishing Rank 1 in the world for the 2023-2024 season. I have helped many players get Worlds Invites in the past, whether it be through deck advice or helping them better understand the current meta or theory behind the game. I offer the option to discuss a deck or metagame for a tournament or 1 on 1 coaching where we can playtest matchups whilst I provide feedback. I'm confident I can help you reach your goals at the game, whether it be making Day 2 at an event or qualifying for the World Championships! If you have any further questions or need to chat about goals and plans, message me on Discord, Twitter or Metafy.

I'm Jesper Eriksen. I've played the Pokémon TCG for more than 17 years. I'm a former World Champion, many time Regional Champion and 4 time National Champion.
