I have loved all kind of games since I have memory, and I fell in love with Magic from the moment I learned how to play and it has becomed my favourite activity in my life! I’m a full-time professional Magic player, and my most notable achievement was getting the title of Player of the Year 2017-2018, after winning a final playoff against the excellent Seth Manfield (who is another coach from Metafy). You can watch the matches here: https://bit.ly/39YqHmx Under my belt I have 3 Pro Tour Top 8’s with a win, as well as 8 Grand Prix Top 8’s with two wins. Here you can watch how I got my Pro Tour Champion title playing Lantern Control, https://bit.ly/39YqHmx Many fine players consider myself a first-rate technical player, with a style of play that is as fast as confident. That’s why I believe I am skilled at explaining my thoughts while playing. Magic is a game with lot of variance, similar to most card games, so it is very important to learn how to manage your emotions while playing. It is critical to have a strong mindset, which is one of the keys to become a Pro player. I have a lot of tip and tricks to help you to become a stronger player, and the best insight I can give you now is learn to accept your losses and learn from them. I believe that you need to learn how to be a loser before learning how to be a winner. It is easy to know how to win more, and I will not only teach you that, but I will also advise you on how to become a good loser, because there is more to learn from mistakes than from victories. I want to share a personal story regarding this theme. This was the last swiss round of Pro Tour Rivals of Ixalan. My score was 12 wins and 3 losses, so with an intentional draw I could end up with 37 points which would have locked me for Top 8, but my opponent, Lucas Esper Berthoud, had only 11 wins, so a draw wasn’t enough for him. So we played. In the minute 12:25, you can see me searching for a card that was not in the deck. I totally messed up during the end of the previous round, leaving the card I was looking for in the sideboard instead of the maindeck. I only needed to find that card to win, but I got a game loss instead. I was very excited with the win of the previous round, and I thought that I already hade made Top 8, since I only needed a draw at the final round. Reality was that now I needed to win all remaining games to secure a Top 8. Looking back, facing that harsh reality was when I graduated in mental toughness. I’ve always considered that I had the emotional strength required to be a Pro Player, but winning the remaining games while locking me for Top 8 was one of the most important matches on my career. https://bit.ly/3GjMHUQ
