Beginners will get the essentials in all matchups, advanced players will be able to consolidate all their gameplans, and even expert players will learn quite a lot from one of the best ICs in the world! Every lesson covers neutral, punish, advantage and disadvantage in a specific matchup.

vs Fox

Fox is a tricky opponent, but Ice Climbers have neutral traps and a punish game more than strong enough to keep up at any level of play!

vs Falco

1 hour

Falco often seems like a very polarizing matchup, especially with the different playstyles his players can have. Not to worry, I've dealt with all playstyles and soon you will too!

vs Sheik

1 hour

The streamlined punish game ICs have on Sheik hides a deceptively complex and potentially difficult matchup, which you will need to learn to not get caught off guard!

vs Marth

1 hour

Fun fact: I haven't lost to a Marth on LAN in over a year and a half. This matchup is both difficult and very rewarding, and will test your knowledge of positioning and desynced neutral.

vs Jigglypuff

1 hour

SluG thinks this matchup is even. SluG is insane, but he might be onto something. Let's go over the most patience-testing matchup in this course and send this balloon blasting off again!

vs Peach

1 hour

The infamous "worst top tier matchup" still has quite a bit of depth to it! Ice Climbers have many underutilized tools to fight Peach's reign of terror, and they'll all be revealed here!

The ditto is a very funny matchup, but just because it's funny doesn't mean it's not a real matchup! This is one of the most unique matchups in the game and can truly differentiate a good ICs from a great one.

vs Samus

One of the most polarizing matchups to discuss amongst Ice Climbers mains, Samus requires precision, consistency and patience to take down!

vs Luigi

Deceptively one of ICs' most tricky matchups, this is definitely one of the characters where you will feel the biggest difference between playing against him with and without a solid gameplan

vs Ganondorf

I played Kage every week for 5 years and lemme tell you, it does something to a man! But now I'm better, and I've got a ton of Ganondorf matchup knowledge to share

vs Weirdos

1 hour

All the weirdo characters. How do you deal with Doc pill camping? How do you deal with Pika being on your shield? You forgot Mewtwo was even in the game, now what? This session will give you a basic framework you can apply when it comes time to fight these characters so you can adapt even if you haven't studied the matchup in-depth.
