Hey everyone! My tag is Ryobeat, I am a long-time top Peach player of the Tri-state Melee community. I have beaten tons of incredible players over the years in a range of matchups such Hax, Moky, Westballz, 2saint, Professor Pro, Rishi, and more. My best win to date was beating Wizzrobe and I was the first non-Armada Peach to defeat him in 5 years. I would also define myself as an innovator of Peach bringing new tech into the meta such as FC up air in neutral, Marth edgeguarding flowcharts, qdropping, and a variety of other techniques. I have done Melee coaching for almost a year for Kone's Academy where I taught an average of 12-15 students. I am also the lead TO of NYC Melee and host of The Nightclub/Function which I consider myself to be in a mentor role for by collaborating and training new TO staff. Lastly in my non-gaming time, I am a high school English teacher so I am very comfortable creating lessons for a range of different learners in the classroom. There are not many coaches who play Peach who understand her intricacies so playing Peach is a huge plus.
