Critiques can be directed to specific areas of your play per your request (e.g. "Please look at my ledgetrapping and offstage disadvantage in particular"). I have done countless VOD Reviews for players for a vast array characters and abilities. I can teach you how to play certain matchups or identify areas for improvement for your play with suggestions to improve them. I have confidence that I can identify areas of your play that can be improved and recommend alternatives to make you the player you want to be. VOD review content often contains lots of written information to properly explain the theory that goes into what will help you improve. This session is for players looking to develop their ability to fight specific matchups. I am able to teach you how to play matchups for any character in the game that I use. The following characters are ones I am the most practiced and knowledgeable with (all of which have been used in a tournament setting): - Marth - Lucina - Roy - Chrom - Ike - Robin - Corrin - Byleth - Pyra/Mythra - Pit/Dark Pit - Mewtwo There are other characters I am proficient in, but these are the ones I am most proficient with and have used in tournament settings successfully. It doesn't matter what character you use, as I will take time to prepare and study prior to our session, however it may take a few days to practice and study the character of your choosing to ensure that you get the matchup practice desired. A matchup practice session will use 1 character from me and (ideally) 1 character from you for the entire session. The session will come with written content to help you with the matchup and assist your develop whilst training. Such content will often include: - Optimal combos and alternative routes based on percentage and rage - Mixups and 50/50s for an optimal advantage state - Ledgetrapping and edgeguarding techniques - Onstage disadvantage including landing and avoiding kill setups - Offstage disadvantage including recovery and getting off ledge - Neutral play including spacing, options, movement and conditioning - Understanding what each move does and when/where to use them optimally Concepts such as these will be covered in order to set you up for success against any particular characters giving you trouble. No matter who I'm up against, I can teach you how to beat your demons. This session will teach you everything you need to know about a character that I specialise in. I will provide a full written guide about one of the following characters: - Marth - Lucina - Roy - Chrom - Ike - Robin - Corrin - Byleth - Mewtwo - Pyra/Mythra - Pit/Dark Pit Since these characters are the ones I have had the most competitive success with and the most experience using over a period of several years, they are the characters I feel most comfortable writing about. Currently, I only offer written character guides for these characters. This written guides will cover the following topics to give you as much information as possible about how to use these characters properly and efficiently: - A general overview of the character alongside their strengths, weaknesses, key matchups and archetype - Optimal combos and alternative routes, including setups from grabs, grounded moves and aerial attacks - What moves to use in every state of play, including neutral, advantage, disadvantage, on-stage and offstage, and how to use them properly - The purpose of every move the character has and how they link with other tools in the character's toolkit - How to perform neutral concepts such as spacing, flowcharts and - How to perform advantage state concepts such as juggling, ledgetrapping, pressuring, reading and performing kill confirms - How to perform disadvantage state concepts such as recovery, landing, ledge play, out of shield game and resetting neutral - Movement options and how to optimally move and position as the character Written guides are expected to be approximately 3000 or more words and very detailed. The information is formatted in a legible and easy to understand manner, so it is clear to see sections and parts of the guide you may want to revisit to aid your development as you train.
