For Replay Analysis, how do I submit a replay for viewing if the game does not have replay functionality?
If your game does not allow for replay viewing, you can use the PS4 share functionality to save the match you had to your storage. Then you can use the capture gallery to trim the footage down to the match you want. After which you can share the video to YouTube unlisted or save the trimmed footage to an external storage device to be transferred to a computer. The file itself can then be sent to me during our session. If you are on PC, please record your matches if you are considering using the Replay Analysis service only if your game does not have replay functionality.
In our lesson we went slightly over the time limit, do I have to pay extra?
No. You don't have to pay extra if we go a little over the time limit. Sometimes we will be in heavy discussion and you or I may have to finish a point or two. So long as it is not too much time that has passed it is fine to go a little over the time spent.
Do you play on 'X' Console
For the games listed I play on both PS4 and PC versions of the game. You need not worry. For replay analysis sometimes the game may not be necessary to perform it as it will just be a VOD or file. However it will still be convenient to use the game itself if it has the replay functionality.
What is Parsec and why do I have to use it?
Parsec is an application that allows for remote desktop sharing between users. It has been utilized in the fighting game community for games like SAMURAI SHODOWN and Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 that have subpar netcode infrastructure by itself and have not yet received improvements or have met the end of development. For coaching this is useful for allowing ONLINE training mode. Street Fighter V Champion Edition does not have an online training mode unlike its predecessor. With Parsec you can connect to my computer (or vice versa which is more preferable so you do not have any delay in inputs) and we can access training mode together, having you (or me) control player 2. This is better than using the online lobby matches and being restricted by time limit or lack of resources in order to explain scenarios. You can download Parsec here: https://parsec.app/downloads/
