Ice Climbers Master Course

The full A-Z on playing Ice Climbers in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. This will range from understanding moveset options, to Nana's AI to desyncs and more! All these lessons can and likely will be modified based on your current skill level, understanding, and pace. All sessions include live games and/or VOD review if live games are not possible.

Sessions Overview

Introduction to Ice Climbers

1 hour

The first steps in learning the character. This will include basic Nana functions, moveset overview, and basic gameplans.

Introduction to desyncs and basic application

1 hour

An introduction to what a desync is, how to do one, and most importantly, WHY you desync. This includes a short tutorial on the desyncs we will be focusing on.

Ledgetrapping and Advantage

1 hour

This will be an extrememly detailed lesson on all of your ledgetrapping options, mixups, strengths, and weaknesses, synced or desynced.

Understanding Nana's AI

1 hour

An in-depth rundown of Nana's AI and her states. This will go over her disadvantage, saving her, recovering, and path finding.

Disadvantage and Sopo

1 hour

This session will focus on disadvantage, dealing with nana, playing as Sopo and other disadvantageous positions such as the ledge.

Mindset and Closing Tips

1 hour

In this session we will go over the mindset you need to play Ice Climbers competitively and how to develop and adapt it. This will also be paired with closing thoughts, live games if possible and anything else that wasn't covered in previous sessions.
