WhiteFox here! I'm one of the best tft players on OCE, peaked at rank 1 OCE for set 7.5,8 and 9, and was known for pioneering off-meta lines (especially AP lines) and turning them into broken comps. I have been Challenger since set 4.5; owns multiple Challenger accounts across different servers including NA, OCE and SEA; and I have also placed 9th and 16th in S4 and S8 of the AfreecaTV TFT The Chosen One Open Cup among over 500 players respectively. I have coached and given advices to a lot of the OCE TFT community members and helped them improve from their ranks or even performing better in major TFT tournaments. TFT is a strategy game accompanied with luck, so the main focus to success is simple; Lower the variance, play the broken. And to do so, you are going to master the fundamentals including but not limited to: - Standard leveling patterns - Itemization (Greeding for Best in Slot v.s. Slamming sub-optimal items early) - Scouting & Positioning - Rolldown timing & Stabilizing your board - Knowing meta comps for the patch & Predicting the meta - Keeping your econ v.s. Maintaining a winstreak - Pivoting In and Out of comps - Collecting information from other players' gameplay - Playing around expected placements As a long-time TFT player, I know how frustrated 'getting Mortdogged' and losing a game could be.
