In this ~2 hour video (broken down into 5 parts), I will go over the different characters in Melee, and explain which traits you would need to possess (or develop) in order to successfully pilot the characters. Perhaps you enjoy being rewarded for patience, or you lack patience? Maybe you want to be rewarded for practicing your tech skill a lot, and have this be an important factor (or not). Perhaps spacing or edge-guarding is more up your alley? Maybe you have a super fast reaction time and prefer to rely on reaction tech chase? Whatever it is, I will go over the primary competitive tactics for each character so you can choose your best main(s) for SSBM that fit your playstyle, strengths or preferences.
