Event OverviewDramatically improve your deck-building skills by learning from the Pokémon TCG's extensive history in my new course designed for players of all experience-levels. Whether you've never changed a card on your own and want to begin your deck-building journey, or have already designed your own tournament-ready control decks and want a new challenge to test your skills and a history lesson to go along with it, this course is for you!
Evaluating new cards, building decks, and predicting new metagames is best learned through practice, but mastering these at the present-day speed of one new set every few months can take years. That's where Pokémon's decade-long history comes in.
Together, we'll work through old expansions, rotations, erratas, and bans as if they were happening in the present day—by evaluating cards, building decks, and finally checking our work by looking at what really did happen years ago!
In this third session (same content as 3b), we will continue on from 2014's X & Y format and explore the impact of the Flashfire expansion heading into the US National and World Championships. (Although it is not strictly necessary, I recommend following this course in order by viewing the previous recordings.)
As a live-participant (limit of 16) you will have the opportunity to share ideas and decklists you create during the session and get real-time feedback on where you went right and wrong. Once the lesson is over, a recording will be available for anyone else to follow along to and learn from for $10.99.
