Welcome to my little community! My favorite part of MTG is the feeling of improvement and I would love to share my knowledge with others to help them reach their goals!
Over the past few weeks, I’ve dedicated nearly all my time to learning Izzet Prowess from the ground up. From building foundational heuristics to refining the final tournament list, I’ve been fully immersed in understanding every angle of the deck. This guide is a comprehensive breakdown of everything I’ve learned through that process. My goal is to give you the tools, insights, and structure you need to master Prowess and confidently take on any opponent that stands in your way.
A unique part of this guide you might not find elsewhere is a section on Heuristics. In this section I discuss heuristics I use surrounding cantrips, how I sequence my spells, and how I quickly do the math needed to play Prowess for an extended period of time.

The Original Esper Pixie Deck GuideHi! My Name is Nicole and this is the guide to the Esper Pixie deck I used for my 14th place finish at SCG Atlanta. Esper Pixie boasted the highest win rate of the tournament at 58% and my teammates and I ended with a 71% winrate. I finished the tournament as the highest placing Esper Pixie player :)
The guide is almost 8000 words and I tried to include content on my decision making and answer frequently asked questions I have received since the tournament
