Hello! I'm Jonathan or known as JDRR. I've been a TCG player for basically my whole life starting with Pokemon as I was a child. I started playing more competitively when I was about 13 years old but since have not been competing as much as now I'm a proud father of 2 kids. I will never admit to being the best player but coaching others to improve their gameplay and deckbuilding/theory is where I excel the most (Or so I've been told ). I coach people in life and their mindset as part of my work so helping people overcome mental blocks is where I am most passionate about. Most of my experience in TCG's comes from Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon as I have been playing for about 20+ years but like all of you I have moved on fully to Lorcana and love it. My favourite card in this game has to be Elsa or Rapunzel and my favourite Disney princess is Belle or Rapunzel. My favourite decks to play are Purple Steel and Blurple. I have a soft spot for non tier 1 decks and not playing meta. With coaching I want to take a look at the big picture when coaching. What I mean is...You might have nailed down the perfect mulligan strategy or the most optimal lines of play but somehow you still find yourself coming up short. You're just not able to close out the game and you're really not sure why. That is likely because there were some micro-decisions throughout the game that ultimately would have won you game that you didn't take. This is where I come in and help you recognize those opportunities, because this is what separates good players from the great ones.
