Hi, I’m Nicole Tipple—competitive Magic: The Gathering player, content creator, and coach. I started my competitive journey at my first Regional Championship in Denver in February of 2024 where I qualified for my first Pro Tour. At my first PT I lost my win and in to top 8 and have since shown strong finishes at just about every tournament I go to. My focus is helping players break into competitive play and level up their tournament performance, whether that’s crushing your first RCQ or refining play patterns for high-level events. I bring a unique experience to the table for those newer to competitive magic or individuals looking to step up their game to break into the competitive scene. Having done all these things myself over the last year and a half I would like to continue sharing my knowledge and helping others get there too! Whether you’re prepping for your first big event or looking to clean up your gameplay, I’m here to help you grow and achieve your goals.
Hello! I'm Franco Cicchini aka ziofrancone from Italy! I play almost all the formats with good results I can say thankfully. Here are some: Top4 Gp Bologna 2019 (Legacy, 1596 pp) Day2 Innistrad Championship Top4 Paupergeddon Pisa (638 pp) Finals Paupergeddon Rome (690 pp) Countless results on MTGO
I am a certified online magic grinder with thousands of matches in all competitive formats across MTGO and Arena. Some highlights of the grind are a win at Arena Championship 1, two T16 finishes at Mythic Championships in the same season, two MOCS appearances and culminating in a season competing on the Rivals League. Apart from my pro play, I have PTQ top finishes in every constructed and limited format, but a love for vintage cube. I want to help you replicate my journey from grinder to a competitor at the top of the game and share the skills that I have learned along the way. I aim to teach about all facets of the game. For constructed, I take a particular focus on in-game strategy, technical play, deck selection/metagaming, and side boarding in constructed. In limited I am strongest in draft strategy and deck building. Outside of the game, I can offer insight on handling painful losses and managing the mental side of the competitive game. Wherever your starting point is, I look forward to working with you to achieve your Magic goals and improve as a player in all aspects of the game.
I have been involved in high-level competitive MTG from every angle for years - as a competitor, commentator, content creator, and coach (https://linktr.ee/domhrv). I spent 2019 playing full-time on the paper SCG Tour, finishing 2nd in the Player of the Year race and tying the all-time yearly record with 3 SCG Open wins (2 solo + 1 team). Under COVID, I have focused on online play with results in every major Constructed format while helping friends and coaching clients achieve success in high-stakes Magic Online and Arena events. I specialize in Modern, hosting the Dominaria's Judgment podcast with Ari Lax. To me any individual result is less important than finding a smart and healthy preparation process to let players and teams perform consistently. I aim to help my clients with whatever their immediate goals are while giving a framework for future development. Lessons can cover gameplay reviews, focused testing, deck discussion, tournament preparation, or anything else you have in mind - I'll put together an individual lesson plan that's right for you!

I knew I wanted to play strategy games since I was 8. My dad was a world champion Bridge player so winning is definitely in my DNA. The moment I realized I could be one of the best in this game was when I won the Grand Prix Daytona Beach and played against Paulo Vitor Damo da Rosa in the finals. I was 16. It's been a straight road to success from there. I love the different layers of complexity Magic has. Learning and evolving are constant in this game. With my coaching sessions, I can help players on all levels get a deeper understanding of the game and learn to develop their own winning strategies.
I have loved all kind of games since I have memory, and I fell in love with Magic from the moment I learned how to play and it has becomed my favourite activity in my life! I’m a full-time professional Magic player, and my most notable achievement was getting the title of Player of the Year 2017-2018, after winning a final playoff against the excellent Seth Manfield (who is another coach from Metafy). You can watch the matches here: https://bit.ly/39YqHmx Under my belt I have 3 Pro Tour Top 8’s with a win, as well as 8 Grand Prix Top 8’s with two wins. Here you can watch how I got my Pro Tour Champion title playing Lantern Control, https://bit.ly/39YqHmx Many fine players consider myself a first-rate technical player, with a style of play that is as fast as confident. That’s why I believe I am skilled at explaining my thoughts while playing. Magic is a game with lot of variance, similar to most card games, so it is very important to learn how to manage your emotions while playing. It is critical to have a strong mindset, which is one of the keys to become a Pro player. I have a lot of tip and tricks to help you to become a stronger player, and the best insight I can give you now is learn to accept your losses and learn from them. I believe that you need to learn how to be a loser before learning how to be a winner. It is easy to know how to win more, and I will not only teach you that, but I will also advise you on how to become a good loser, because there is more to learn from mistakes than from victories. I want to share a personal story regarding this theme. This was the last swiss round of Pro Tour Rivals of Ixalan. My score was 12 wins and 3 losses, so with an intentional draw I could end up with 37 points which would have locked me for Top 8, but my opponent, Lucas Esper Berthoud, had only 11 wins, so a draw wasn’t enough for him. So we played. In the minute 12:25, you can see me searching for a card that was not in the deck. I totally messed up during the end of the previous round, leaving the card I was looking for in the sideboard instead of the maindeck. I only needed to find that card to win, but I got a game loss instead. I was very excited with the win of the previous round, and I thought that I already hade made Top 8, since I only needed a draw at the final round. Reality was that now I needed to win all remaining games to secure a Top 8. Looking back, facing that harsh reality was when I graduated in mental toughness. I’ve always considered that I had the emotional strength required to be a Pro Player, but winning the remaining games while locking me for Top 8 was one of the most important matches on my career. https://bit.ly/3GjMHUQ
