Hello everyone , my name is Giannis but better known in the Rocket League community as WolfRider . My first experience with this type of game was with the prequel of Rocket League , SARBPC and I have been playing Rocket League since it came out (2015) . I have consistently been the highest rank and in the top 100 of the leaderboards many times since season 1 . In the past 5 years of full time coaching I have worked with individuals (ages 8-54), teams, universities, schools and camps (2000+ sessions) with many of them winning their respected leagues, many individuals managed to get scholarships and many more.
I've been playing Rocket League for over 8 years and have been top 100 in season 13, 14 and 16. I've been Grand Champion since season 9, and SSL since season 16 but I'm trying to go higher everyday. After I started coaching in 2020, I realized that the feeling of seeing other players benefit from my knowledge felt incredibly rewarding. The person I coached the most was definitely myself! After hundreds of replay reviews of my own games, pro games, and RLCS matches my understanding of the game skyrocketed! After taking a break from competitive play in 2022, I started coaching more often than playing competitive Rocket League. I've also studied sports psychology focusing on esports in particular. I learned from a well respected professional sports psychologist "MindGames Weldon". I use his teachings to help build the right mindset/mentality for my students. For every coaching session I like to start out by getting into a discord call and asking a few baseline questions like "What are you goals in Rocket League?" in order to understand what we are working towards together. With your goal in mind I tailor the session to suit you. This may include in depth replay analysis, private 1v1s, playing games together, and/or watching you play while I coach you live.
