To give examples, a team I coached started at ~Division 10 and has made Alpha Bracket Low Ink appearances. Another, ~Division 6, was borderline competing with +3 calibre teams in a tournament. With individuals, one started at A rank and got to S+ within the same season, another made the top cut at a major (Genesis X) while starting at around mid/low-ish level, and a third met their goal of reaching top 500!
