Hello! My name is Carmine, and I’ve been coaching Smash professionally for the past three years. Over this past year, I've also added Marvel Snap and Legends of Runeterra to my repertoire of games! Between my games, I’ve worked with around 300 students over the course of nearly 500 hours of sessions. With my tried and tested ability to teach core principles of esports improvement, I've helped a wide variety of players with many things related to their play, including choosing main characters and deck archetypes, building and improving on their growth mindsets, studying their VODs through analysis, and through commentary and guidance during games against me. Basically, I can help you improve your game in any way you want! My goal as a coach is not to simply give answers to problems, but to guide players into creating their own solutions, as well as forming their own understandings and identities within their games. For as long as I’ve been coaching I’ve tried to make my sessions as accessible as possible, as I believe that all players should get the opportunity to both improve and express their skills in sessions like these. Esports mean so much to me, and my goal with coaching has always been to show others the value and opportunity for self-expression I’ve found through competition, while providing a solid foundation for your understanding and thought processes. Over my years coaching, I’ve honed my ability to articulate abstract ideas, and my studies in English have helped me refine my methods of teaching important concepts for players at all levels.
