I've played the TCG for over 13 years and have experience coaching over 100 students! I believe in a multi faceted teaching approach that I have refined over 1000s of hours of coaching and playing the game. Ciaran's event was the most informative metafy event I've ever intended. His class was well-organized, very in-depth, and went over all the numerous questions that were answers. Afterwards, he made a discord of all members of the class where not only did we talk amongst ourselves, but he answered further questions. I also purchased Ciaran's Lugia guide, which was THE most in-depth guide on the site. Would highly recommend.

possibly the best and most thorough class Ive done on metafy, with great slides, matchup strategies, and a discord discussion afterwards with both Ciaran and participants. I am locking in on this deck and if I ever get more competitive I will def seek out more of Ciaran's classes or coaching. A++++

Pokémon TCG1 on 1 Coaching - 1 Hour
A session with me will consist of helping you improve as a player. We can playtest games, focus on deckbuilding, discuss plans for upcoming tournaments, forecast the meta, or anything else you want to cover!
Pokémon TCGThis course is meant to be the Lugia Bible, teaching you everything you need to know to master the archetype. It will include in depth deck building discussion, puzzles/board state analysis, VOD analysis, and in depth matchup guides. In addition there are sections on more nuanced intricacies of the deck like when you should Summoning Star for one Archeops, how to maximize Gift Energy, and how to use Wyrdeer V effectively. I am also committed to continuously updating the guide as new sets, matchups, and meta shifts occur. As well as if I get requests for additional content that should be added!

Hey, I'm Ciaran! I am based out of Toronto, Canada and have been playing the Pokémon TCG since 2011. I have experience playing in both the Seniors & Masters Divisions (2014-2015 onwards), so I am able to provide a unique perspective on the game no matter your age! What platforms do you use for coaching?
I normally use Google Meets or Discord, but am open to other communication platforms. I normally use ptcgsim.online to play games and go over scenarios. I also use PTCG Live if requested
What does a coaching session with you look like?
That is up to you! I can help guide you if you aren't sure exactly what you are looking for. Some example sessions could be as follows: - We go over board states or puzzles to analyze and improve your gameplay - You screen share and we play games on a simulator or Pokemon TCG Live where you walk me through your thought process and I give you my perspective/tips - We discuss your deck list, the reasoning behind every card, and my thoughts on how to get to the optimal 60 - If you want to test a certain matchup, I can have you play games against me and we can discuss the best way to approach the matchup with your deck - I answer any questions you have about what a tournament is going to be like and my tips for being successful and having fun! - You come with pre-recorded VODs of some games and we can walk through them together
