🌟Hey! My name is Gabe and I am currently the #2 ranked player in North America! I have worked with over 500 students in the Pokemon tcg and I am passionate about helping YOU reach your goals. My main objective is teaching you how to IMPROVE at the game, and not just how to play it. One of my most successful students is Tristian T, who I coached to a Worlds 2nd place, Worlds Top 8, Regional Win, and more! Multiple other of my clients have seen great success whether it be achieving their worlds invite, making their first day 2, top cutting and winning regionals, and much more. I have coaching experience in every division and know what it takes for you succeed. What a session looks like: 1. We will introduce each other, I always love to know which are your goals and what’s your background. This will allow us to really begin to pinpoint our goals, and what we need to work on. 2. We will go over everything you need for the session, and the different teaching routes we can take per class that suites your needs. 3. One of the biggest things when we dive into gameplay, is I want to give you the freedom to make YOUR decisions first. I want to see where your mind leads to first, before we make the corrections needed. I will begin aiding you in sequencing tips, meta gaming analysis, and much more in our sessions. I am incredibly flexible with your needs, and can pivot to whatever core skill you want to improve on.

Some of the accomplishments I am most proud of are as follows: 8 World Championships Invitations, #1 Ranking in US & Canada in 2016, winning the Canadian National Championships, Top 4 and Top 8 at LAIC, and my three Top 32s at the World Championships! My job as a coach is to work with you to achieve your goals as a player. They could be as small as getting ready to play your first local tournament, or as large as earning an invitation to the World Championships. Whatever they are, I am confident I can work with you to help you become a better Pokémon player! Outside of Pokémon I have many hobbies and interests I enjoy such as playing/watching basketball, running, sports analytics, chess, travelling, and computer programming. Hello! My name is Jackson Ford. I'm a competitive player in the Pokemon Trading Card Game located in Toronto and have competed since 2010. My experience in all 3 age divisions has given me perspective in how to find success in all areas of the game, I thrive in teaching gameplay decisions, sequencing, as well as deck building, critical thinking and improving decision making skills. My coaching style focuses around critically thinking 'why' we make the in-game decisions we do. Developing a mindset adaptable to new situations brings a player from good to elite and I know how to teach this mindset. In my career I've been fortunate to have one of the best Canadian careers in Pokemon throughout all 3 age divisions. Most recently I Top 8'd the Latin America International Championships but I am also a North American International Champion, Canadian National Champion, 3-Time Regional Champion, Top 16 & 2 Time Top 32 Worlds Competitor with countless other achievements. Growing up as a student of the game, I've interacted with players of all ages. I cater to all age divisions and understand what it takes to perform at the top level of any age division. The name of my game is efficiency. I have one of the best tournament conversion rates and understand the reality that for many people such as myself, not everyone can attend every tournament and maximizing your chances at the ones you can attend is key. If you are a player that fits into this category, my expertise is perfectly suited for you. Personally, I'm a 4th year student studying in the Rotman Commerce business program at the University of Toronto. I enjoy staying active, lifting and running at the gym, and also play both soccer and volleyball recreationally. My dedication to my education and physical health transfer to my attitude for Pokemon and are an asset in my success at the game. Thank you for your consideration of me as your coach! If you have any questions or just want to chat please reach out to me to talk! I look forward to meeting you and building your skills in the Pokemon TCG to become the best player you can!

English: I have been playing the Pokémon TCG competitively for over 16 years, and I firmly believe that I can help any player to achieve their goals by using an approach that has been successful many times in the past that focuses on individual strengths and weaknesses, as well as general practices like the fundamentals of the Pokémon TCG and in depth aspects like meta gaming. Hello, my name is Christian Fontenot. I am a recent Regional Champion in the Pokémon TCG, and I am here to help you reach the next level! Through my many years of playing, I have failed more than most. It took me almost half of my life to learn what I know now, and I am ready and willing to teach it to you. I did not get to where I am today through any amount of talent, just raw dedication and a desire to be the best. You don't have to be a super genius to be good at Pokémon, but like me, you might have to work a little harder for it. While courses with me will have something for everyone at every level, they are mainly for those who are struggling and are stuck in their progress as a player. If you feel like you have hit a wall and don't know where to go from here, then you have found the right guy to help you. I have been there, and I can teach you the fundamental skills to break out of that curse, and become the best player you can be.

Heyo, I'm Owyn Kamerman, and I've been playing the Pokémon TCG for 13 years. I've earned my worlds invite in every single year since starting. I've been ranked the third best European player of the 22/23 season, and have won the London Open and Dortmund regionals as well as made numerous international and regional top cuts. Every person has different coaching needs at different times, therefore I aim to make every session fit to your current needs, and provide flexible options in lessons. This could include reviewing your matches, live coaching during play, list adjustments and metagaming or simply testing against a high-level player. You can expect me to iron out, as well as point out your potential misplays, and explain why they are misplays to prevent your from making them again. Here to help you become the best version of yourself. Having experienced the top of the competition in all age divisions, I understand the differences in play between each age division, as well as how the metagame likes to shape up. I've worked with people of all ages with great success.

Hi, I'm Brent and I play Pokemon TCG at the highest level, finishing Rank 1 in the world for the 2023-2024 season. I have helped many players get Worlds Invites in the past, whether it be through deck advice or helping them better understand the current meta or theory behind the game. I offer the option to discuss a deck or metagame for a tournament or 1 on 1 coaching where we can playtest matchups whilst I provide feedback. I'm confident I can help you reach your goals at the game, whether it be making Day 2 at an event or qualifying for the World Championships! If you have any further questions or need to chat about goals and plans, message me on Discord, Twitter or Metafy.

My students regularly finish in the top eight of regional and international events, and always see significant improvement in their overall play. Hey, I’m Kamil — a competitive Pokémon TCG player based in Milan, originally from Montreal. In the 2025 season, I finished 49th in North America with 882 CP, earning top placements across Regionals and SPEs with decks like Dragapult ex, Gardevoir, Regidrago, and Lugia. I believe real success in this game comes from mastering the mental game: sequencing cleanly, prepping matchups smartly, and staying calm under pressure. I coach players to think critically, clean up misplays, and develop efficient practice routines that actually lead to results. Whether you're pushing for Day 2 or chasing your first CP, I’ll help you get there — with structure, strategy, and a mindset built for winning. I can share my knowledge in English, French, and Italian and will always adapt my coaching style to each individual student.

Hi! I’m Steffen Eriksen — a Pokémon TCG player, Pokémon TCG judge, award-winning lecturer, and creator of Steffen’s Classroom. With over 20 years of experience in the Pokémon TCG, I’ve earned 13 World Championship invites and placed highly at major events across Europe. In recent years, I’ve also judged at all levels of competitive play, including serving as Head Judge at large tournaments. This dual perspective as both player and judge has deepened my understanding of the game’s mechanics, strategy, and structure. Alongside competing and judging, I’ve developed a reputation for bringing the game into the classroom — using it as a tool to teach math, probability, and strategic thinking in a fun, relatable way. My passion lies in helping others understand not just how to play better, but why good decisions work — through math, statistics, and structured reasoning. I’ve created the Pokémath series on YouTube to make these ideas accessible to anyone interested in taking their game (and understanding) to the next level. This Metafy community is a space to dive deeper into three key areas: 📊 In-game math problems (For math problems you encounter during Pokémon TCG matches) 📈 Probability and Deckbuilding (For probability questions tied to deckbuilding, consistency, opening hand scenarios etc.) 🧠 The theory and tools behind it all (For background explanations of all the methods used) If you're curious, analytical, and love Pokémon — you're in the right place. Let's level up your game, one equation at a time.
